The Breed

The Goldendoodle is a mixed breed dog between the popular Golden Retriever and the adorable Poodles.

The Goldendoodle is well known for being an affectionate, docile, social, intelligent and cheerful breed. No doubt it has become a family dog ​​that loves company and playing games. It is a curious combination between fur and temperament.

They have a life expectancy of around 15 years. However, there are some cases in which they have come to live for a longer period of time.

SIZE AND COLOR

Goldendoodles can be found in three sizes; large weighting between 44, 60 and up to 80 pounds; medium, weighting between 20 and 44 pounds and mini, that can weigh approximately 13 pounds maximum.

Being a design breed, there is a great variety, with apricot and red being the most popular colors, in addition to black and white there is also phamton chocolate and merle colors that are a little less common but increasingly gain ning acceptance from the public.

Care

The hair of the Goldendoodle is characterized by being thick and dense, long or curly It is advisable to brush their fur frequently, to avoid the formation of knots and dirt accumulation

Feeding

Their food must have a high protein content, they have to eat a couple of times a day, I think that until the first year of age, they should be given food for puppies from there we can introduce adult food. Obviously we will have to have a container full of water to prevent dehydration, especially during the summer.

Physical activity

They are dogs with a lot of energy, so you must give them at least 60 minute walks or jogging every day.
